Mangaluru: CM lays foundation for RGUHS Regional Centre at Maryhill

Mangaluru, January 17, 2025: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah laid the foundation for the Regional Centre of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) at Maryhill on January 17, Friday. He also unveiled the commemorative plaque on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the project when completed will benefit students of the region. On this occasion, the CM said the facilities and health care services and quality of services in Government hospitals should be on par with those in private hospitals.

The RGUHS Regional Centre will come up at a cost of Rs 50 crores.

Medical Education Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, DK in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao, Speaker U T Khader, MP Capt Brijesh Chowta, MLA Bharath Shetty, MLC Manjunath Bhandary, Mayor Manoj Kumar, Director of Medical Education Dr Sujatha Rathore, RGUHS Vice Chancellor Dr M K Ramesh and others were present.
