Mangaluru: Conductor falls off city bus; dies

Mangaluru, Aug 30, 2023: A conductor of a city bus lost his life after he fell down from the bus from its front door on August 29, Tuesday.

The deceased person is Eerayya (23). The bus was heading towards Shivabagh from Padua when the incident took place near Nantoor Circle.

 

 

The deceased Eerayya originally a resident of Bagalkot district and was currently residing in Surathkal Tadambeil, was fall from the sppeding bus and hit on the road. Local police and bystanders who were present at the scene immediately admitted the young man to the hospital.

Due to a severe head injury from the impact, the young man succumbed around 8 PM last night. The incident was recorded on the front camera of the vehicle that was in front, and the video has since gone viral on social media. The police have informed that the incident occurred because the bus was moving at a high speed. A case has been registered against the bus driver in the Kadri Traffic Police Station.
