Mangaluru: Distinguished doctorate holders honoured

Mangaluru, July 08, 2022: Yenepoya Abdul Kunhi, Chancellor of Yenepoya Deemed-to-be University who was recently awarded Honorary Doctorate by the Gulbarga University, theatre personality Devadas Kapikad and former sahitya parishat president Harikrishna Punaroor who were awarded Honorary doctorate by Mangalore University were felicitated at a civic reception organised in their honour at Town Hall on July 7, Thursday. Hemavathi V Heggade who too was to be felicitated was absent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Former chief minister M Veerappa Moily honoured the eminent personalities.  N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University, former MLC Ivan D’Souza,  MLA  UT Khader, Felicitation Committee members Dr U T Iftikar Ali, Dr Devaraj,  Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Roy Castelino and others were present.
