Mangaluru: Duo arrested for drugs peddling; Rs 1.15 lakh worth MDMA seized

Mangaluru, February 25, 2025: CCB police of Mangaluru have arrested two men on the charges of drugs smuggling and have seized 23 grams of MDMA from them.

Those arrested are Sheikh Sikander (22) from Gulbarga and Taufiq (29) from Kavoor. The accused Sheih has also a case pending against him in Gulbarga’s Roza police station with regard to a murder.

The accused had reportedly procured drugs from Mumbai and were selling the same in Mangaluru. Police who gathered a tip off, arrested them in Bangrakulur area.

The value of the seized contraband is estimated at Rs 1.15 lakhs.
Two mobile phones and a two-wheeler have been seized from them.
