Mangaluru : Heavy rains across city; water logging at several places

Mangaluru, Sep  11, 2020:     Heavy rains that have been lashing various parts of the city as well as the district, has , resulted in water logging and artificial floods at several places of Mangaluru.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar visited the affected areas in Jappinamogaru.

 

Several places like Kottara Chowki, Alake, Kottara, Padil, Barke, Pumpwell and Nanthur witnessed artificial floods and water has entered houses and shops at several areas.  Water logging at several places has also hindered vehicular movement.

Sullia, Belthangady, Puttur, Kadaba and other places are also experiencing heavy rains.

Weather Department has  issued red alert on  September 11 and 12  along the coast.
