Mangaluru: Illegal Bangladeshi arrested at Mukka

Mangaluru, January 10, 2025: In a joint operation, the City Police and the State Internal Securities Division officials apprehended a Bangladeshi national illegally residing in the district.

The officials who raided a place at Mukka detained Anarul Sheikh (25), a Bangladeshi who was residing in the nation since three years illegally and was evading the cops.

He worked as a construction worker at Mukka and hails from Rajashahi district in Bangladesh. It is learnt, he had entered India through Lal Gol on the Bangla international border and reached Murshidabad and then came to Udupi.
