Mangaluru: Illegally transported wooden logs seized

Mangaluru, February 8, 2025: The mobile forest squad police personnel have seized a lorry and registered a case against a person on the charges of illegally transporting wooden logs on the industrial area road at Baikampady. Wooden logs worth Rs 6 lakhs were seized and a case has been registered against Mohammad Siraj of Kundapur.

The operation followed a tip off. The seized wooden logs included wood from 26 different varieties of trees.
