Mangaluru : Indira Canteen inaugurated

Mangaluru, Mar 06, 2018: The  Indira Canteen  at Ward No. 46 near Nehru Maidan was inaugurated on  March 6, Tuesday by State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader.  J R Lobo, MLA of Mangaluru South presided over the function.  The Indira Canteen would serve breakfast and food to 500 people every day at very nominal prices after availing coupons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil, Minister Ramanatha Rai, MLC Ivan D’Souza,  Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Deputy Mayor Rajaneesh Kapikad,  MUDA Chairman Suresh Ballal, MCC Chief Whip  Shashidhar  Hegde and others were present.

  Breakfast    costs Rs 5 while lunch costs Rs 10. Indira canteens will also open at Nehru Maidan, Urwa, Kavoor, Pumpwell and Suratkal today.
