Mangaluru International Airport rings in Christmas festivities with 3-day celebration

Mangaluru, Dec 24, 2023: Mangaluru International Airport kicked off a festive Christmas celebration that spanned three days, starting on Saturday, December 23, adding a touch of holiday spirit to the #GatewayToGoodness experience for passengers. Talented artists serenaded travelers with melodic Christmas carols, including the classic "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells." To enhance the festive atmosphere, ’Santa Claus’ made appearances, delighting passengers by distributing Christmas goodies.

Passengers eagerly embraced the festive mood, donning red and white Christmas hats provided in Santa’s goodie bags as they embarked on their journeys. The airport created a festive ambiance on the first floor of the domestic security hold area with a 360-degree photo booth, allowing passengers to capture and share cherished moments of the ongoing celebration with their loved ones.

Complementing the photo booth, the airport provided a variety of Christmas props for passengers to use, adding a creative touch to the content generated by the 360-degree photo booth. The airport spokesperson emphasized that this festive celebration is part of Mangaluru International Airport’s commitment to offering passengers an enriching experience.

The Christmas festivities are integrated into the ongoing #OneNationBillionCelebration (ONBC) campaign, which the airport initiated during Dusshera and continued through Diwali. The hallmark of the ONBC campaign is thematic décor reflecting the spirit of each festival. As an added incentive, passengers participating in the shop and win contest during this three-plus-month campaign stand a chance to win an international holiday for a family of four to Paris as the grand prize.
