Mangaluru: Man found dead near Kudupu

Mangaluru, April 28, 2025: An unidentified man was found dead near the Kudupu bridge on Sunday evening.

Though the exact cause of the death is not known, the suspicion is that the man died of grievous assault.

Police are investigating the case and City Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal has requested the public not to believe in rumours regarding the case.

According to sources the deceased aged around 35-40 is a labourer. It is said the man had gone to the venue of a local cricket match in a nearby ground when there was an altercation between the players and the man resulting in the attack.

Senior police officials including City Police Commissioner visited the spot.
