Mangaluru: State level Congress Convention on Jan 21; preparatory meet held

Mangaluru, Jan 13, 2024: A meeting was held at Congress Bhavan at Mallikatte on January 12, Friday as a prelude to a state level party workers’ convention to be held in the city on January 21. Friday’s meeting was presided over by DCC Chief and MLC K Harish Kumar.

 

KPCC Working President Saleem Ahmed who addressed the meeting said the state level convention is being organized as per the directions of AICC Chief Mallikarjuna Kharge. Around one lakh delegates are expected to participate in the convention. He said all booth, ward and block level workers should participate.

DK District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao said all measures must be taken for the success of the convention. He also formed different committees.

Party leaders Ramanatha Rai, Vinaykumar Sorake, Abhayachandra Jain, Ashok Kumar Rai, Manjunath Bhandari, Shakuntala Shetty, J R Lobo, Ivan D’Souza and others were present.
