Mangaluru : Sudheer Kumar Reddy takes over as new SP

Mangaluru, June 22,2017 : Sudheer Kumar Reddy  took charge as the new Superintendent of Police of Dakshina Kannada on June 22, Thursday. Outgoing SP  Bhushan Gulab Rao Borase handed over charge to the new SP at a simple ceremony at the SP office.

Borase has been transferred  to Bengaluru as DCP (Administration). The transfer comes in the wake of the recent   disturbances in Kalladka.

The new SP  Sudheer Kumar is an IAS officer of the 2010 batch and was serving as SP  of Chikkaballapur before being transferred to Dakshina Kannada. Hailing from Narasarapet in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, Reddy is a B.Tech degree holder  from Pondicherry Engineering College. He has also served as Additional SP of Bhatkal and SP of Bidar.
