Mangaluru: Tributes paid to air crash victims

Mangaluru, May 22, 2024: It has been 14 years since 158 passengers including cabin crew of the Air India Express flight from Dubai lost their lives after the plane overshot the runway and crashlanded at Kenjar close by the Mangaluru International Airport on May 22, 2010.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On this occasion, the district administration organized a function near the memorial on Wednesday to pay tributes to those who lost their lives in the tragedy.

Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, senior police officials, Mangaluru airport officials and the family members of those who lost their lives in the tragedy were present and paid their respects.
