Mangaluru: Vandana Award presented to Ramesh Bhat

Mangaluru May 04, 2023: Eminent Kannada and and Popular cine Artist Ramesh Bhat has been conferred with the Rotary Annual State Level prestigious “Vandana Award” at a function held on 03.05.2023 at Hotel Motimahal Mangalore. The award is conferred on him in recognition of his exemplary achievements and in appreciation of his invaluable contributions in the field of Kannada film industry. The award is jointly instituted by Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and Rotaract Club of Mangalore City.

 

 

 

Vice Chancellor Nitte University Dr. Sateesh Kumar Bhandary graced the occasion as Chief Guest and congratulated him. He also lauded the community service rendered by the Rotary and recognizing the achievers  and honouring them.  

Chairman of the Award Selection Committee Dr. DevdasRai in his introductory address revealed that the Annual Vandana Award is Conferred on exemplary achievers and it is a part of clubs vocational service project. He Congratulated Ramesh Bhat on his unique achievements in the field of entertainment and Sandlewood Film  Industry. Rtn. S.S. Nayak introduced the awardee and presented his unique achievements.

Responding to the felicitations the awardee  expressed his gratitude to the Rotary Club and said that he deemed it as a privilege and honour to accept the Award, which is very valuable among the awards he has won.

President Rtn. Sai Baba Rao presided over the function. District Assistant Governor Rtn. Rajgopal Rai released the Club Weekly News Bulletin “Centor”. Secretary Rtn. Pradeep Kulal presented the Monthly Report, Past President Rtn. Ramashesha Shetty, President Elect Rtn. Rajesh Shetty, District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Nikhil, Rotaract Club President Rtr.
