Mangaluru: Young woman traveling in a two-wheeler dies hit by a truck

Mangaluru, October 20, 2024: A young woman lost her life after a tipper lorry rammed into her two-wheeler near Nanthur Circle on Sunday evening.

The deceased is Christi Crasta (27) from Kodikal. She was the daughter of Cyril Crasta and Sandra Crasta. Christi was on way towards Pumpwell from Nanthur circle when a speeding fish lorry rammed into her two-wheeler. Christi died on the spot.

Kadri police have taken the lorry driver into custody for rash and negligent driving.

Christi who was a teacher was scheduled to get married on November 23.
