Mangaluru man found dead on railway tracks in Kundapur

Kundapur, July 15, 2022: A man was found dead  near the railway tracks  at Kedur on July 15, Friday morning. It is suspected that he might have fallen from  the Mumbai-Mangaluru express train during the early hours of Friday.

 

The deceased person has been identified as Nityanand Shet of Dongarakeri in Mangaluru. He was returning to Mangaluru from Mumbai when the incident took place. His mobile phone was also found nearby and this helped in the task of identifying him.

The body was noticed during routine track inspection by the railway personnel.
