Mangaluru youth Shashank part of Indian team for South Asian Basketball event

Mangaluru, Nov 14, 2021: Shashank J Rai from Mangaluru will be part of the Indian Senior Men’s Basketball Team  that will take part in the South Asian Basketball Championship to be held at Dhaka, Bangladesh from November 15 to 20. He is the first Mangalurean to be selected to the national team.

Shashank is an alumnus of St Aloysius High School. He graduated from JPR College of Engineering, Chennai and did his MBA from SRM College, Chennai.

Prashanth is presently  serving the Forest Department in Mangaluru and is the son of Jayashanker Rai, General Manager, MCF and Babitha Rai.

He is also a member  of Mangalore Basketball Club  which he had represented   several teams in the state level events.
