Manipal: Restaurant inside lodge gutted in fire mishap

Manipal, July 15, 2022: A restaurant in a lodge in front of the  MIT Manipal was gutted in a fire mishap during the early hours of July 15, Friday. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire which engulfed the restaurant in no time.

 

The fire service personnel later rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. As the family restaurant in the lodge is gutted, furniture and several other goods have been destroyed and the loss has been estimated at several lakhs of rupees.
