Manipal: Stray dogs pounce on little girl; leave her seriously injured

Manipal, Aug 24, 2022: A little girl has sustained serious injuries in an attack by a group of stray dogs here on August 24, Wednesday. The injured girl is a first standard student of a local school.

 

The attack by the stray dogs has left the girl seriously injured in her head. She is being treated at the District Hospital at Ajjarkad.

Local social workers including Nityananda Olakadu and Taranatha Mestha Shiroor have urged the Udupi CMC to immediately put an end to the menace of stray dogs by trapping them and sheltering them in stray dog rehabilitation centres.
