Markaz Prachara Sammelan held to publicize MSS convocation

Mangalore, Dec 25: A. P. Abubakkar Musliyar, the national general secretary of the Federation of Sunni Ulema, was the chief guest of the Markaz Prachara  Sammelana held at Adyar Kannur Rajesh Ground on Dec 24, Friday to give publicity to the 33rd annual convention and 5th convocation of MSS, which is scheduled to be held on Jan 8 – 9, 2011 at Karanthur in Calicut.

 

 

 

 

 

In his address, he said that the Markaz education institutions provide shelter to under privileged children and uphold communal harmony and humanity by providing education. He urged everybody to participate in the historic convention at Calicut.

Usman Mitthoor, the chairman of Markazul Huda Women’s College, Puttur, presided over the programme. D. K. Umar Sakhafi Kambalabettu delivered the welcome address.

The Prachara Sammelana was inaugurated by Bekal P. M. Ibrahim Musliyar, the Qazi of Udupi and President of the Federation of the Karnataka Sunni Ulema.

A large number of people, including Sunni Ulema from all over Kerala and Karnataka, were present.
