Mayor inaugurates Lepakshi handicraft exhibition

Mangalore, November 11: The Lepakshi handicraft exhibition organized by Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium and sponsored by Andhra Pradesh Handicraft Development Corporation Limited was inaugurated at Hotel Woodlands on Nov 11, Thursday, at 11:00 a.m.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mayor of Mangalore Rajani Dugganna inaugurated the exhibition and said that the exhibition gives the citizens of Mangalore a great opportunity to purchase the handicrafts of several states under one roof.

Jacob D’Souza, the investigator of Development of Handicraft Commission, said that items worth Rs. 2 lakh have been exhibited and added that invited artisans will give demonstrations to interested customers.

Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium Manager K. V. Subbanna and Ramesh Rao, the owner of Woodlands Hotel, were also present.
