Mayor lays foundation for pending bus shelter works at service bus stand

Mangaluru, September 6, 2024: Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur on Friday laid the foundation for pending bus shelter works of the service bus stand at Hampankatta.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Deputy Mayor Sunitha, Opposition leader Praveen Chandra Alva corporators Diwaker Pandeshwar, Ganesh Kulal, Bus Operators Association President Azeez Parthippady, Vice President Ramachandra Naik, Smart City General Manager Arun Prabha and others were present.

MLA Vedavyas Kamath in his address said already two bus shelters have been constructed and the construction of the remaining shelter has been taken up under Smart City. The project would be completed at the earliest, he said.
