Medical intern suicide case ; youth arrested on charges of abetment

Mangaluru, Dec 21, 2021: Ullal Police have arrested  Sujeesh hailing from Palakkad in connection with the  suicide of 25 year old medical intern Vaishali Gaikwad at her flat at Kuthar. Sujeesh has been accused of abetment to suicide.

 

It is learnt both were in a relationship but of late there was some misunderstanding between the two following which Sujeesh had left to his hometown. Sources revealed Vaishali was depressed following the strain in relationship. It is learnt three days before her death Vaishali along with her friends had met Sujeesh and her father and it was decided that they should not continue their relationship.  It is learnt, it was after this that Vaishali decided to end her life.
