Minister Yogeshwar escapes unhurt after stage collapses

Mangaluru, March 21, 2021: The stage set on the banks of the Nandini river at Sasihithlu to conduct the inauguration of the two-day Nandini Utsav on Saturday collapsed.

The stage collapsed when Minister for Tourism, Environment and Ecology, CP Yogeshwar and other guests were on the dias.

Karnataka Tourism department has organized Nandini Utsav for two days. The inauguration of the same was scheduled to be held on the evening of Saturday.

The minister, guests and the priest of Katil temple Anantapadmanabha Asranna fell down with the stage creating a commotion.

Immediately event volunteers rushed to the spot and safely moved the guests.
