Minor tremors felt in Sullia

Sullia, June 25, 2022: Several residents of Sullia have said they have experienced minor  tremors on Saturday morning at around 9.10 am.

 

Locals say they heard a loud sound like that of a thunder when there were tremors. Some said it was as if something rammed into the building.

Residents of Kallugundi, Sampaje, Goonadka, Arambur and other  areas too have experienced  tremors. It is said tremors were also felt for about 5 seconds in Sullia town. Some buildings have also developed cracks.
