Missing 35-year-old man from Mangaluru located in Ballari

Mangaluru, June 1, 2023: Jayaraj, a 35-year-old resident of Harekala Panjilaguli who disappeared under mysterious circumstances, has been traced in Ballari. His family members have traveled to Ballari to meet him.

On May 30, Jayaraj went to work in Balmatta after leaving his pregnant wife at her parents’ house. However, his mobile phone was later switched off, and he went missing.

Concerned about his whereabouts, his family members filed a missing person’s report at the Mangaluru rural police station. The police took immediate action after the news of his disappearance circulated in the media. They shared the information with police departments throughout the state and initiated search operations within the limits of the Mangaluru police station.

Jayaraj’s relatives were called in for questioning by the police. Subsequently, on May 31, the scooter Jayaraj had used was discovered near Padil-Nanthoor road. His mobile phone, wallet, and documents were found in the scooter, causing further worry for his family.

On Thursday, June 1, the Ballari police contacted the Mangaluru rural police station to report that Jayaraj had been found. As a result, his family members have left for Ballari to bring him back home.
