After investigating the case, the Pandeshwar police have found the missing girl. However, she was found with a notorious Muslim youth, Mohammad Ashfaq. It is reported that Mohammad Ashfaq has a notorious background. He is already married and has eight criminal cases registered against him at the Vidyanagar police station in Kasaragod.

The girl’s father has filed a complaint with the Mangaluru Police Commissioner, alleging that his daughter, who was studying at a college in Mangaluru, was kidnapped and converted to Islam. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has alleged that this is a case of ’Love Jihad’.

Love Jihad is increasing in the coastal region. The Hindu community needs to be alert against this. To curb the conversion of Hindu girls in the name of love and marriage, strong laws need to be implemented in the country, said VHP’s Sharan Pumpwell.

The girl’s father has filed a complaint regarding the conversion. We need to wait and see what actions the police will take regarding this. It remains to be seen whether the Hindu girl went with Mohammad Ashfaq willingly or if Ashfaq persuaded and took her away. This will be clarified after the police investigation.
