Missing youth pushed to death from hill top; search on for body

Bantwal, Nov 09, 2022: A youth from Bolantur village of Vittal who was missing since some days has been reportedly murdered. It is learnt that a man from  the same village  had taken the youth Abdul Samad to a hill top for immoral activity and had then pushed him to death from atop the Mulurpadavu hill.

 

The police who had launched an operation to retrieve the body of Samad on Tuesday had to abandon it late night and the  operation is expected to continue today.

The accused has been identified as Abdul Rahiman. The family of Samad had earlier lodged a missing complaint. The police during investigation learnt that the missing youth was in touch with Rahiman and later came to know about the dreadful act.

Further investigations are in progress.
