Model code of conduct: Over 12,000 litres liquor, 15 kg drugs seized in DK

Mangaluru, Apr 02, 2024: The authorities have seized 12,844 litres of liquor worth Rs 41,90,665 in Dakshina Kannada district upto April 1 from the date of enforcement of Model Code of Conduct.

 

Apart from liquor 15.5 kg drugs valued at Rs 8,69,950 have been seized.

As many as 243 FIRs have been registered  including cases for violation of excise rules.
