Moodbidre : Spectacular I-Day celebrations at Alva’s College

Moodbidre, August 15: Alva’s Education Foundation celebrated Independence Day in a grand manner in its campus in Moodbidre on Saturday morning. Over 20,000 students of the institution took part in the Independence day celebrations.

 

 

 

 

Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmsthala was the Chief guest of the occasion. Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation and his father Mijarguttu Anand Alva and former minister Amarnath Shetty were also present.

The celebration was truly a visual treat with thousands of students in saffron, white and green, dressed to match the Tricolour, participated in the celebrations. Later students performed various cultural activities.
