Moodbidri : 13 injured as school excursion bus overturns

Moodbidri jan 9, 2013 : Thirteen people including a few children sustained injuries when the tourist bus in which they were on an excursion overturned near Maroor Guddalangadi on January 8, Tuesday.  The bus was carrying students and teachers from a school in Mandya.

 

 The students had visited Kateel temple the previous day  and had begun their  journey from Kateel towards Dharmasthala when the mishap took place at around  7.30 am. Overspeeding is said to be the cause of the accident.

The injured are Krishnappa, the driver, Sayyed Ahmed, cleaner,  teachers  Ravi, Jagadish,  students Yashaswini, Pallavi, Gautham and Sachin.

Moodbidri police have registered a case.
