Moral policing at Peruvai; video goes viral

Bantwal, Oct 13, 2023: In an incident of moral policing reported from Peruvai in Bantwal taluk on October 12, Friday, some local youth who saw two boys and a girl of different communities in the bus stop had questioned them.

 

It later came to light that they had come to the place by bus and were waiting for a bus to go to Uppala. Their videos were taken and they were questioned by the local group and the boys reportedly told them that they were students.

They were later taken to the police station and were released after questioning. The police said the boys were from Kerala.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
