Mulki: Leopard barges into kitchen of a house; trapped by forest personnel

Mulki, October 22, 2024: A leopard created panic in Mulki by barging into the kitchen of a house. Later it was trapped by the forest officials of Moodbidri in a cage in a five hour long operation.

The leopard aged around one year had somehow entered the kitchen of the house of Sadananda Kotian near Akkasalikara keri of Mulki. The dog began barking loudly and the occupants of the house were panic-stricken on seeing the leopard.

Locals immediately alerted the Forest Department. The forest personnel later fixed a cage to the front doors of the house and trapped the leopard in a five hour long operation.

A huge crowd had gathered on coming to know about the leopard in the kitchen.
