Mulki : Serial mishap claims scooterist’s life; pillion rider injured

Mulki, May 11, 2022: A scooterist lost his life in a serial mishap involving his scooter and two cars near the Karnad byepass on the National Highway 66 on May 10, Tuesday.

 

The deceased is Mohan Gowda (50) of Niddodi in Muchur. The pillion rider Charanraj has also sustained injuries. The mishap occurred when Mohan was returning home after fishing in the Shambhavi river.

A car which was heading towards  Mangaluru from Udupi, rushed all of a sudden and hit a Scooty. Later the driver lost complete control over the  vehicle resulting in it colliding against Mohan Gowda’s scooter and also a vehicle of the Navayuga firm.Luckily, four labourers in Navayuga vehicle escaped unhurt.

Traffic was disrupted on the route for some time due to the serial mishap.
