Mysuru woman drowns in sea at Ullal

Mangaluru, May 29, 2022: A woman of Mysuru origin  who was enjoying with her family at Ullal beach, drowned on May 29, Sunday.

The deceased is Bhagyalakshmi. She along with her husband, three daughters and a grand daughter had come on a Mangaluru tour. The family  stayed at a lodge near Pumpwell and had  been to the Someshwar Temple at Ullal and subsequently to the Summer Sands Beach Resort.

It is learnt, Bhagyalakshmi’s husband and the child were  caught in strong tidal waves. Sensing danger, Bhagyalakshmi had stepped into the water to rescue them but eventually drowned.

Ullal Police have registered a case.
