Nadimane Mohan Rao is no more

nadimaneUdupi, Feb 5, 2012: Nadimane B. Mohan Rao, a progressive farmer, religious leader, philanthropist, and social activist, died at the age of 73 in Hyderabad on Feb 5 Sunday.


The deceased is survived by wife, five sons, one daughter, and two brothers. 


Mr. Rao was the managing trustee of Durgaparameshwari Temple in Kunjoor, the president of Vishveshwar Temple Renovation Committee, Correspondent of Durgadevi Higher Primary School in Paniyoor, and former president of Belapu GP and Belapu Cooperative Agricultural Bank. 


He was the brother of Nadimane Sundar Rao, the founder of Sundar Taj Mahal Hotels in Hyderabad. 


Swami Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji of Puttige Mutt, Vedamurthi Kenja Shridar Tantri, Kalattur Temple Managing Trustee, Vidwan Vedamurthi Padmanabha Udupa, TP President Devdas Hebbar, ZP President Katpady Shankar Poojary, and many others have expressed their condolences.
