Mangaluru, Nov 15, 2022: The longstanding fight for the removal of Suratkal toll gate seems to be yielding result. But the tweet of the MP thanking for the closure of the toll gate is nothing but a mockery, said Amala Ramachandra, KPCC Media Spokesperson.
Speaking to reporters at the party office on November 15, Tuesday he said the MP Instead of thanking the higher-ups ought to have sought apology from the public for the delay in closure of the toll gate that looted people since the past six years.
He referred to the road patch works undertaken during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Bengaluru, and said the prime minister should know the problems of the people during his visit. Instead if patch works are done and the roads beautified how can he know about the problem of bad roads that has claimed many lives, he questioned.
Party leaders Neeraj Pal, Yashwanth and others were present.
