Nejaru murder case: No jewellery stolen from house, says SP

Udupi, Nov 13, 2023: Udupi District Superintendent of Police Dr Arun K has said that no jewellery has been stolen from the house at Nejaru in Malpe police station limits where an unidentified assailant hacked a woman and her three children to death on Sunday morning.

 

It may be recalled here that Haseena and her children Afnan, Aynaz and Aseem were killed with a sharp weapon while her mother-in-law who also was attacked is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

All the four were killed inside the house and no valuable was found. At the outset this looks to be a case of murder for personal reasons, the SP said.
