Nepalese tourist dies in car-lorry collision

Byndoor, December 13, 2024: A Nepalese tourist lost his life after the car in which he was travelling with his family members collided with a lorry parked on the roadside on the NH 66 in Navunda.

The deceased is Pamba Chiri Sherpa (65). His wife and three relatives who were in the car have sustained injuries.

The family had travelled to India for a tour and medical check. They had landed  at Hyderabad and then come to Kushalnagar in Karnataka and were on way to Goa via Udupi in an Innova car when the overspeeding car rammed into the lorry.

Byndoor police have registered a case.
