Newskarnataka.com invites entries for Crib Contest-2012

Mangalore, Dec 21, 2012: Kannada news webportal www.newskarnataka.com in association with Karnataka Regional Youth Commission is organising  the first ever State Level Online Crib Contest-2012. The first-of-its-kind contest has been organized for the benefit of global readers away from home in particular and for the community in general.  Any individual, association or Parish across the nation including all the Diocese of Karnataka, can take part. Entry is absolutely free for all participants at www.cribcontest.com.

Those interested in participating have to just log on to www.newskarnataka.com or www.cribcontest.com, click on the Crib Contest link, and upload the crib photos.  The contest is open from December 21st to 31st. The entry that is the most creative and has the best Christmas theme will be chosen as the winner. Public voting will carry 50% weightage while the judges’ decision will carry the remaining 50%. Results will be announced on January 26th, 2013.

There will be 3 winners (Prizes will be distributed on 3rd February 2013.) : The first prize carries a cash prize of Rs20,000 and a gift voucher ;  2nd Prize a cash award  of  Rs 15,000 and a gift voucher, while the third prize will carry a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a gift voucher.
