Nigerian woman arrested in Bengaluru for smuggling drugs to Kerala

Kasargod, May 18, 2023: Bekal police have arrested a Nigerian woman on the charges of smuggling drugs to Kerala.

 

The accused named Apsath Rihanath alias Blesing Joyi (22) was arrested from Bengaluru. The police had earlier arrested a couple from Tingalachattanchal and two others from Bengaluru and had seized 150 grams MDMA from them. Interrogations had revealed that the Nigerian woman had supplied the contraband.

Based on this information, the Bekal police left for Bengaluru and arrested the Nigerian woman from her residence.
