Noor Samad’s ’Vismaya Keeta Prapancha’ chosen for Muslim Literary Award

Mangaluru, Dec 05, 2022: Agriculture Officer and poet Dr Noor Samad Abbalagere’s work "Vismaya Keeta Prapancha," has been chosen for the state level Muslim Literary Award for the year 2021 given by the  Karnataka Muslim Writers Association. The award is given for the best published work of Muslim writers.

 

 

 

 

 

The Award given in memory of late U T Fareed comprises a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a citation. The award presentation ceremony would be held in Mangaluru in January 2023.

Journalist B M Basheer, Lecturer Abdul Razak Ananthady and writer Fathima Raliya were the judges.

The Award winner Dr Noor Samad is a post graduate in Agricultural Entomology and  has been contributing articles relating to amazing world of insects to ’Sahapati’ supplement of Prajavani. Vismaya Keeta Prapancha is a compilation of the same.
