North East Craft Exhibition gets underway

Mangaluru, Feb 04, 2016: Mayor Jacintha Alfred inaugurated North East Crafts Exhibition at Hotel Wood Lands on February 4, Thursday.

Speaking to press persons on this occasion, the Mayor said  that North East crafts need to be encouraged and market at a further higher level. It also serves as a platform for  cultural exchange in the city, she added.

Manager of the exhibition, Sri Rajan said that, North eastern craft is now easily available for the people through this exhibition.   As many as 50 artisans are involved in this exhibition, he said. Jacob D’Souza and Ramesh Bhat were present.
