Officials raid illegal quarrying operation: Assets seized

Hiriyadka, August 29, 2024: Officials from the mining department conducted a raid on August 27 at Adapadi in Perduru village, where illegal stone quarrying was taking place. During the raid, they seized a Hitachi excavator and several stone slabs.

Nagaraj and Santosh were operating the illegal quarry without any permit. The mining department official, Harija, along with police officers, seized the Hitachi excavator and two tipper loads of stone at the site. A case has been registered at the Hiriyadka police station regarding the incident.
