One nigrant worker dead after construction site accident in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, July 3, 2024: One migrant worker died after being trapped in debris when the earth from the retaining wall of a construction site caved in on Wednesday, July 3, in Mangaluru city. Another worker had a miraculous escape and was rescued from the mud two hours later.

 

The incident occurred at Balmatta, in the heart of the city, where a multi-story building is under construction. The victim has been identified as Chandan from Uttar Pradesh. The rescued worker has been identified as Rajkumar from Bihar.
