P G Ramesh Speaks of Students’ Responsibilities at MAGMA 2009

P G Ramesh, the commissioner of MUDA inaugurated MAGMA 2009, a national-level management fest organized by Srinivas Institute of Management of Srinivas of Management Studies, Pandeshwar, Mangalore on October 23, Friday.

The commissioner said that students’ spirits and talents help them take responsibility toward the country’s development. Everybody has talents that need to be recognized and nurtured. If this is done, the country will overcome all its problems and weaknesses. He also said that, when students begin earning, they must help the needy.

A Srinivas Rao, the vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation presided over the occasion. Anantha G Pai, the ex director of Bharati Beedi Works Pvt Ltd and D Shashikala R Rao, the secretary of A Shama Rao Foundation were the chief guests of the occasion.

Dr P S Ithal, the principal of the college; Priti Jeevan, the staff in-charge for MAGMA 2009; and Bhaskar Pai, the student coordinator were also present.
