PUC results announced: DK, Udupi share top honours

Bangalore, May 8, 2014:  Dakshina Kannada district has topped the state in the Second PUC exam results announced on May 8, Thursday morning. The district has secured a pass percentage of 86.04.

Udupi has stood second in the list with a pass percentage of 85.57. The results were announced by State Education Minister Kimmane Ratnaker.

 The state wide pass percentage is 60.47. As usual girls have fared better than boys. The pass percentage is high in rural areas and stands at 60.47 per cent while   the percentage of pass  in urban areas is 60.15 per cent.
