Padavinangady shopkeeper ends life by jumping into sea at Someshwar

Mangaluru, December 12, 2024: A man from Padil Veeranagar has jumped into the sea from Someshwar Rudrapade on Wednesday. His body was traced in the evening.

The deceased is Uday Kumar (46). He owned a shop dealing with building construction materials at Padavinangady. He reportedly arrived at Someshwar beach on Wednesday afternoon and left all his belongings in his two-wheeler before jumping into the sea.

A youth who saw the scooter informed nearby shopkeepers and the local police. The body was traced after an intensive search.

The deceased has left behind his parents, wife and a son.
