Padubidri: 2 youth drown in sea

Padubidri, December 31, 2024: Two youth drowned in the sea at Hejamady Amasakariya on Monday.

The deceased are Amman (17) and Akshay (20). Both  were washed away by strong tidal waves. Though locals rushed to their help and admitted them to the hospital, the two breathed their last. Another man who was with them however escaped the jaws of death.
