Padubidri: Head constable goes missing

Karkala, Oct 21, 2023: A complaint has been lodged in Padubidri police station regarding the missing of a head constable attached to the Karkala police station.

 

The missing cop is Shrutin Shetty (35) from Kaup.  His wife has lodged a complaint stating that he was uncontactable since 7.30 pm on Thursday.

It is said prior to that he had called his wife and told her that he was in Nandikur and would return home. However later his phone was switched off. After a wait for him the entire night, his wife lodged a complaint.

A cop of the 2008 batch he was promoted as head constable of Karkala Town Police Station just two months ago.
